When Previous Trainers’ Classes Weren’t Enough

I've gotten a cycle of calls from people with older dogs, 12 to 20 months, that are lunging and barking at other dogs on leash.

These owners that call East Coast Academy often say their dogs went through group socialization classes when younger and did great. After the few weeks of going to the facility, and the training isn't continued outside/ in real life, and as the dogs mature, the dogs may begin to behave according to instinct.

Perhaps the dog is protective, agitated when not allowed to greet, or anxious about being yanked away incorrectly.

East Coast Academy of Dog Training teaches in-home, outside, and in public areas. Owners learn how to raise and handle their dogs for real life situations and the written agreement states that they always have us to call for help.

We teach from the age of 8 weeks and older. This program covers techniques and procedures to control problem behaviors that are not resolved by obedience alone.
